Programs

The Red River Lyric Summer Festival has two tracks of study:

YOUNG ARTIST PROGRAM

For more advanced students and professionals.

Singers admitted to this program will sing roles in the productions, in addition to being invited to participate in master classes and other training opportunities.

Tuition: $2,850

STUDIO PROGRAM

For all singers looking to broaden their skills and prepare for auditions in a nurturing yet intensive environment.

Participants will understudy roles and sing chorus in the staged productions. Master classes and lessons are an integral part of this program

Tuition: $2,550.

Housing

Housing for the program includes campus insurance. Food is available (but limited) on campus for an additional cost.

The Midwestern State University dorms provide double occupancy rooms with shared living space (2 residents).

Single rooms are available for an additional fee.

There two full kitchens available for use in the building.

COLLABORATIVE PIANO INTERNSHIP

Pianists will accompany rehearsals and lessons.
This is a great way to build repertoire and develop a performing and teaching résumé!
Some interns may be involved in scenes performances and staging rehearsals.

There is no tuition for this program.

TECHNICAL & DIRECTING INTERNSHIPS

Aspiring stage directors, designers and stage managers are encouraged to apply.
The interns will participate in the workshop, assist the directors and coaches, and have possible directing responsibilities supervised by workshop staff.
Lighting designers will assist in the design of all performances.

There is no tuition for this program.
